The Hudson Assembly
The Hudson Assembly joins Suentes Po and Clarence to fill out The ByJove Records Retirement Home For Broken Up Bands (BJRHFBUB) division of By Jove Records.
Sometime in 2000, Tom (bass), Jeremy (guitar), Derek (guitar/vocals), and Andy (drums/vocals) began recording songs for a soundtrack to a movie that was never made. Later they called themselves The Hudson Assembly. They assembled like two or three shows to promote the new material but band disputes complicated things.
After a short interval, Derek (guitar/vocals) and Andy (guitars/drums/vocals) decided to continue as the remaining original members of The Hudson Assembly. In January 2002, they went into the studio and recorded a 3 song EP. For live performances, they added Jane (bass) and Doug (drums). They assembled like two or three shows but band disputes complicated things and the Hudson ceased to flow.
Note: Derek has gone on to front a new band. A trickle of The Hudson Assembly songs can be heard at their shows.
